Why I love working with Seniors

There is something truly unique and special about this age group, as they are on the cusp of adulthood and are full of energy, excitement, and potential. Through my photography, I strive to capture the spirit and personality of each senior that I work with, and to create images that truly reflect their unique experiences and aspirations. I love the challenge of finding creative ways to showcase each senior's individuality, whether that be through the use of props, lighting, or posing. As someone who has always had a passion for photography, I feel blessed to be able to work with such an inspiring and dynamic group of young people. I am constantly amazed by the stories they have to tell and the dreams they have for their future.

Planning your Senior Session

To ensure amazing senior photos that truly reflect who you are, consider these tips: find the right photographer, choose a location with personal meaning and good lighting, wear outfits that reflect your style and consider the location and season, bring props that showcase your personality, consider professional hair and makeup, and most importantly, have fun and be yourself!

When choosing a location for your high school senior photos, consider places that have personal meaning or significance to you. This could be a favorite spot in nature, a city street that you love, or even your own backyard. Make sure the location has good lighting and is easily accessible for your photographer. Don't be afraid to get creative and think outside the box to find a unique and special location that truly reflects your personality and style.

When deciding what to wear for your high school senior photos, it's important to choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colors and classic styles are always a safe choice, but don't be afraid to incorporate your own personal style and flair. Avoid busy patterns and logos, as they can be distracting in photos. Also, consider the location and weather when selecting your outfits. Bring a few options to the photo shoot and work with your photographer to determine the best choice based on lighting and background. Remember, these photos will be cherished memories for years to come, so choose outfits that make you feel your best.

It's a great idea to bring props or accessories that represent your personality and interests. You can bring anything from a beloved book to a musical instrument. Don't forget to include your love for sports too! Bring your favorite jersey and we'll incorporate it into your session.

Hair & Makeup

Getting your hair and makeup done for your high school senior photos is completely optional, but it can enhance your overall look and make you feel more confident in front of the camera. Professional hair and makeup artists can help you achieve a flawless and polished look that will make your photos stand out. Plus, having your hair and makeup done can be a fun and pampering experience that will help you relax and enjoy the photo shoot even more. Ultimately, the decision to get your hair and makeup done is up to you, but it's definitely worth considering if you want to look your best for this special occasion.
